Duties and Responsibilities:

Sage Administration:
- Manages and enhances the Sage Accounting System.
- Creates and maintains over 50 financial reports.
- Trains and supports staff on Sage usage.
- Collaborates with IT for system management.
- Administers Sage APA and Asset Management modules.

Accounting:
- Prepares daily cash position reports and monthly bank reconciliation.
- Handles payroll journal entries and imports.
- Supports creation of import files and reconciles payroll system with Sage 300.
- Provides backup for Ministry budget and reports.
- Responds to problems promptly and handle special projects.

Policies and Procedures:
- Reviews and complies with policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years’ experience in accounting and finance in a non for profit environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with Accounting Major.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Sage 300.
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Works well under pressure.
